Loneliness

By NDODS
Good day to you all at ePz.

Thank you for taking the time to view, comment and vote on my upload yesterday. A special mention going to: Williamsloan (Billy) for his User Award.

Todays image comes from Normandy where I was lucky to spend a great holiday some years back with my wife and some friends.

Yesterday proved to be a great day at the races at Fontwell. Even though I only backed one winner in the seven races it proved to be a thrill. It certainly is the sport of kings with lots of money exchanging hands.

I hope that you have a great day. The sun is shinning here in Worthing so I may venture out for a while this afternoon.

Regards as always NathanGrinGrinGrin

Glad you had a good day yesterday Nathan.
I just love this image ,but no one will go very far on this one with it's chain hanging down, and no gears.
You'd need a pair of really strong legsSmileI think I 'll stick to my 21 gear bikeSmile

A lovely composition and happy memories of your wonderful holiday.
Old bikes are great subjects and the rustic setting perfect.
I thought the contrast was better in V2.

To think it was once someone's pride and joy. Shiny and fast. Now it leans against a wall with it's chain hanging and disintegrating into the ground. I'd say your title is right Nathan. A lovely nostalgic image.

v2 for me, I think the touch of colour elevates the picture to a different level.

A well seen shot of this bicycle, looking like it needs a bit of TLC. Both versions work well, but after much toggling, go for V1 as my fave Smile
