Lonely Road Home

Thank you for all the comments and votes on Bomb Squad Gone.

It's been less hectic over the last couple of days but still busy. I have found a little time to work on the family's calendar.
Normally I have it completed by now and I've even had to resort to pictures from the archives. The theme is Lakeland Moods but this particular image didn't make it, perhaps another tiome. It's at the bottom of the Honister Pass looking in the direction of Buttermere.

Adjusting shuter speed won't make the colours any better Akram, assuming aperture stayed the same so exposure was halved, if not colours would be darker and more saturated but would look muddy, Autumn colours here are all about being muted in the atmospheric conditions.

There is an assumption in some quarters that autumn means warm, glowing colours. That doesn't apply to a lot of Britain...
