Super composition Darryl, V1 edges it for me,

The mono is a strong image, Darryl, but blue/green/yellow are complementary colours and look so good together I've got to go with v2. The composition is excellent, I think most people would have walked past without spotting the potential.

V1 for me without a doubt. Strong composition and great tones. Very nicely improvised. GrinGrinGrinGrin

Like the 1st version. Great conversion to B&W.

Well composed from a low viewpoint placing the flowering weed against the sky. Whilst I like the B and W version, I feel that the colour version does carry more impact, Darryl.
Perhaps by placing the mono version at V 1 you were anticipating it might be the preferred of the two, but it will be interesting to come back later and see what the consensus opinion is.
Ronnie.

I am of the same opinion, Darryl. If I am not mistaken, the weed is edible and has a strong smell.

A stunning piece Darryl which you have captured from what looks like a back breaking pov. The piece certainly working well in either format, however I think it more suited to the rather moody mono.

I like both images but version 2 just edges it for me. I like the vibrancy of the colours you have created a good image virtually out of nothing.

Atmospheric mono for me, Darryl. Did you use your polariser to capture that impressive sky?

Wonderful piece of work. So well executed. For me the B&W has the greater drama.

Spot on capture. Both variants are amazing. The tonal range and texture in V1 edges it for me.

Both are super, but V1 gets my vote. Feel it has more impact - your shot is well suited to b & w conversion. SmileSmile

Darryl, I absolutely love this. I see Dave prefers the colour version, so it really is all about personal tastes isn;t it.

For me, the mono is a touch of genius, the cloud formation lends itself perfectly to the black & white processing.

Prefer the B&W version, much more powerful and an air of mystery, well done.
