This bought back some memories of a visit to RAF Aldergrove in 1959 when I had an oportunity of a metorlogical flight in a similar plane

Nice shot. Sharp image. A plane over water,something alittle different.
Thanks all, for your comments, much appreciated. Re colour - couldn't afford much in the way of colour stock in the 50s with the savage price of Kodachrome at that time. Was FP3 or nothing.

I now see where your son and Grandson get it from . An excellent photo . Sharp in every detail . The scanning is perfect . A lot of hard work went into producing this photo . Nice to meet you . xx
Thanks Mavis - appreciate your comments and will make good use of the 'bragging rights'. Must make the effort to drag some more 'oldies' from tha back of the cupboard.
