As the winter sun drops low over the Cheviots, it's time to leave the sand dunes of Northumberland.
What's the little white blob in the distance? Is it a nuddy woman?
Excellent. I like the golden look of this. The large version is well worth a look.
Nice feel to this. Quality shot & it does look good viewed large
Moan 'cos it was cold, moan 'cos you're going home, it's just moan, moan, moan, moan, moan.
Much prefer grass when it's not green, in fact, in my preferred world, all 'greenery' would be gold or maybe blue!
Another beauty Keith
I really like this one a lot. It is so WARM!
Moan moan moan it might be but I bet these do flippin' well on Northscape.
Cracking stuff again.
Great light as always.
Those dunes seem to go on forever...
I can see why you're sad! What a beautiful place.
lovely colours and light
still madly busy...back later...cheers
Oooh that golden toning is only a short step away from a tobacco filter!
LOL...depends on whose shoes are doing the stepping.
A super series of images Keith. I was going to click the others but you've already got too many votes on them!
How much of the golden colour is natural and how much from processing?
Its remarkable and most attractive however achieved but I don't think I've ever been lucky enough to catch it like this.
Get orf moi laand!
Only the foreground colour is enhanced, Brian, but then that's through the use of flash. The whole image is then pushed by a couple of stops saturation in Capture One and the colour temp set at 7000k.
Only looking Gov!!
These are my favorite tones.
excellent colours and tones well captured
Bringing warmth to my dismal day, another belter Keith.
To repeat Boyds question, what is that object to the left of the path as it disappears into the mid-ground?
Boyd the edit junkie...LOL
Well on the full size print you can clearly see two people walking home...sadly at 1000pix, they are a blob...though in spite of Boyd's wishes...fully clothed.
LOL - Watch out Keith. One of these days you're going to walk down a path like this one and come across a bunch of guys with tripods and shotguns telling you; 'Leave now. We don't want your type in these parts, it makes us look real bad.' Looking at this, I think I need another tissue!
fantastic golden color.. love it..
I need a tissue too....just looking a blue sky file on the new sensor.
Another beauty Keith
Wonderful colours and sky.
Boyd goes blind looking at nuddy women, you're going to go blind looking at blue sky files.
A lot of good light
Cheers for that...I'm unable to tell...eyesight you know.
Moody with dramatic sky wish I got some off this skies at home when I am free, we either get grey clouds of clear blue sky
You've created a sense of the epic in this series. Well done.
Wow......Super colours, Love it.
Where to next then?
Works for me
Love the colours, nice image...
Beautiful golden tones ...
Marvellous. Great series. What next me wonders?
