Long Walk Home

By keithh
As the winter sun drops low over the Cheviots, it's time to leave the sand dunes of Northumberland.

Golden wonder.

What's the little white blob in the distance? Is it a nuddy woman?

Excellent. I like the golden look of this. The large version is well worth a look.

Moan 'cos it was cold, moan 'cos you're going home, it's just moan, moan, moan, moan, moan.

Much prefer grass when it's not green, in fact, in my preferred world, all 'greenery' would be gold or maybe blue! Smile

A super series of images Keith. I was going to click the others but you've already got too many votes on them! Smile

How much of the golden colour is natural and how much from processing?

Its remarkable and most attractive however achieved but I don't think I've ever been lucky enough to catch it like this.

Only the foreground colour is enhanced, Brian, but then that's through the use of flash. The whole image is then pushed by a couple of stops saturation in Capture One and the colour temp set at 7000k.

Only looking Gov!!

Bringing warmth to my dismal day, another belter Keith.

To repeat Boyds question, what is that object to the left of the path as it disappears into the mid-ground?

Boyd the edit junkie...LOL

Well on the full size print you can clearly see two people walking home...sadly at 1000pix, they are a blob...though in spite of Boyd's wishes...fully clothed.

LOL - Watch out Keith. One of these days you're going to walk down a path like this one and come across a bunch of guys with tripods and shotguns telling you; 'Leave now. We don't want your type in these parts, it makes us look real bad.' Looking at this, I think I need another tissue!

Boyd goes blind looking at nuddy women, you're going to go blind looking at blue sky files.
