Longniddry Beach, East Lothian

By AnnJ
I went down to Longniddry Beach yesterday afternoon with the intention of tryng to photograph the wreck that is visible there at low tide. It proved quite difficult, but as the afternoon gave way to early evening, a glorious light transformed the scene and I decided to take photos of the beach instead.

Thank you for looking and as always I do so appreciate your comments and criticisms.

Well composed with the big rock in f/g and layers of sea and sandbanks in a lovely limited palette of colour.
The clouds have provided lovely reflections in the water.
A really beautiful seascape.

Ann, was along that way last Saturday morning but was struggling to get into any flow.....very nice image, think you have done well here in a stronger light situation to get a lovely reflection. Nice job.

Thanks to everybody who has commented on this photo...I was concerned that the rock in the f/g was too heavy? Not sure how I could have altered this. Ann.
