Look & Listen

By Drummerdelight
The passionate conducter conducting his own written music for saxophone.
This series was taken at a saxophone concert for the pupils of three local shools. A total of 108 sax blowers!
Both the teachers and their pupils where/are very motivated - this meant we sat and listened for 3 hours without a break...pfffyew...

Much as the sax is one of my favourite instruments - especially for jazz - and is the instrument I wanted to learn, I am not sure I could sit and listen to three hours non-stop. That is dedication!

I am so glad to see these orchestras happening. Something really important for the young musicians--- 3 hours of listening Tho-- would be the equivalent of a swim meet----both test the devoted parents!

Dedication, that was the first word that sprung into my mind too.
I think for everyone, audience, musicians and the composer.
