WoooooooooW shot Ken!

I shall congratulate you for your picture and the daring position you placed yourself to take it. Great shooting angle and timing. The choice of shooting i in colour is perfect as in the thumbnail this young bker ssems doing his acrobatics over a mountain!!!

I am aluttle bit puzzled with the shadow and the light on his right arm seeming to be from a light source on his right and then his shadow appearing as if the light comes from his left. Careful looking makes me believe the sun was on your back and a bit from your left.

At the end of the day this is an absolute cracker, worthy of an award... (can't give another one this week) plus a good proof taht you don't need to have the latest camera to get a great picture! Taking off my hat to you and your little gem you hold and use.

Thanks for the comment my friend. You are right about the angle of the sun. As you can see it was taken at about 4.00pm in July. My back was to the sun although I can't remember exactly where it was but I'd guess it was to the left at that time of day. I wanted to exaggerate the "jump" and so I lay on the sidewall of the BMX track and just below the rim which also allowed the graffitti coloured section of the wall to be in shot. Can't complain about the Olympus cameras - except in poor light when the noise is about as bad as it can get! Enjoy your photography.
