No hiding the disgust on the little girl's face on the left. Very good candid.

Mixed reactions there - probably because it's fish, not 'real food'!Wink

(Real food had at least two legs when it lived...)

Lovely vantage point. And yes, b&w all the way. Colour is all about that orange shirt...

'Real food' for most people goes in the microwave these days. Many wouldn't know what to do with a fish. The mono lead image for me Guy. This is what education should be all about. Not allowed in the UK these days due to 'health and safety' without all sorts of paperwork and risk assessments. I used to take my higher class to the Cairngorms but they weren't allowed out of the bus even at the car park as I didn't have a mountain leadership certificate. Whine over.

Nice fillet of co loin - now a luxury food almost. Another great capture - there's a certain 'Dennis the Menace' about the young man to the right of the chef GrinGrinGrinGrin

I stopped taking groups outside school in '92 for much the same reasons - mind you I did escape in '97.

That's a lovely piece of fish, Guy. I wonder if the kids got to sample any of the food?
And yes, The mono version does let the eye focus more on those delightful expressions.
