Look the Other Way

Even the Marquess of Londonderry turns his back.
Durham market place at the beginning of November.

Thanks to everyone for the fantastic response to yesterday's Belsay Castle Mishap. I am really encouraged by all your support.
Thanks for looking.

About the only time you see any voluntary social distancing.
So sad.

A few years ago, most passers-by would think this sight was someone claiming first place in the queue for the Boxing Day sales.

the sad truth is that governments cannot figure out how to house homeless people

Unconscious acceptance.
The more prevalent the more desensitised you become, sadly.

A sad but all too common feature of today, at least they have a tent.
Well spotted and taken photo journalism.

So very sad and there is so many these days. Houses just couldn't be built fast enough to house everyone.

It's been said Bill but here we are the 5/6th richest nation in the World and yet we have people living on the streets.
(Let alone 3 million kids going hungry every day). Can someone tell me how this has happened please.

It's not just the homeless and hungry in the UK either.
There's more than enough money and resources in the world to feed and house everyone.
It's the will to do it that's missing. If the, so called 'super powers' can't agree on a strategy to
save the planet from global warming , what chance do the hungry and homeless have.
We can all put a few quid in someone's begging bowl but that won't solve the problem.
