Look what I got for Christmas, gran!

By HobbitDave
Was sorting through a pile of random old photos that were given to me. No idea who these two are but the lead has date of 1909 on the back, and the version has a date of 1930. Both were very tatty and faded, and I restored them as much as possible iPad Photo Editor.
Happy youngsters! I liked the build of the version....if you got stuck somewhere you could get out and push 🙂 classy kid-cars of their day.
We were a bit older than these two and made our own in the 1950s out of bits of wood, nails, and clothes line. Pram wheels were handy from the local tip 🙂

Thanks for the votes and fun comments on my kitchen images - a great set of characters there for a future upload!

The dream car of us '50's kids was a pedal Austin A35 in British Racing Green in the local dealers, but we, also, had to make our own.
Happy Christmas.

Great old images Dave, we had what we called trollies made from old pram wheels, my wife informs me they were called bogies in the north of England.
All the very best for 2021.
