Looking at the valley

By GPMASS
In the photo, immersed in the mists and autumn smog, three points of reference that the people of Turin are very fond of.
On the left, Mount Musine (1.150m) at the beginning of the Susa Valley: it is a mountain full of legends, due to the presence of magnetic iron (which even modifies the functioning of the compasses ...)
On the right, the Sacra di San Michele, an ancient Benedictine abbey built before the year 1000
In the background, on top of the hills surrounding the city, the Basilica of Superga, built in 1731 by King Vittorio Amedeo II as a thank you to the Virgin Mary, after defeating the French.
