Went on a 7 mile hike in the Lake District yesterday........and don't my muscles know it today!!
This is a view looking towards the Langdales from Loughrigg Fell.
I like the lead in line of the wall, which I think leads the eye into the scene and gives a sense of depth.
I had a polarising filter on the lens (which I've used for the first time) this reduced the amount of light hitting the sensor, and meant I had to increase the ISO to 400. I didn't have my tripod with me - didn't fancy lugging that up hill and down dale for 7 miles!
I've cropped a bit of sky to give a more pleasing composition.
I'd be grateful for any advice, comments or mods showing how I could improve this shot.
