Did you have to shove a few other guys out of the way to get this position?!!! I've seen your stuff elsewhere and visited the sites before, typically high quality landscape work. Well known subject but always possible to get someting unique in such frozen conditions. I do fancy that camera too one day.

Hi Scott, very real. I wouldn't add a different sky into the shot even if I had the faintest idea how to do so. For me, that would destroy the ethic of landscape photography.

The most iconic mountain in Scotland photographed for the zillionith - zillionith time from the most iconic spot for the zillionth time.

Pleasing shot, excellent exposure but I'm totally bored a looking at this composition and the other zillion I'm going to see this year no doubt in very publication.

It's a terrible shame Geoff, that we are not able to come up to your standard, or indeed have the opportunity to go to the diverse locations you have access to.

I'm sure your bored with us snappers, but this type of comment is rather unneccessary.

Btw, never been there, great shot Ian and feck the begrudgers.

Hi Geoff
Yes it has been photographed a Zillion times and probably from the same location. But not by me, would you ignore beauty just because others have seen it before. Surely that would be churlish. I posted it because I felt it was worthy of being seen by others. It seems the majority think so too.

I hadn't seen this before either. It is a beautiful and almost surreal landscape. Thank you for letting us mere mortals share it Ian. The lighting is brilliant.

Some of us aren't as 'professional' or widely travelled as Geoff, nor as patronising. I'm beginning to notice he doesn't post cheap advertising details of his website on his more abusive comments.

Sorry to add this here but I can't post this comment to him directly because he has removed all his pictures in case we steal them.
