lost in space

By AlexandraSD
well not quite, its the ISS (internation space station) as it passed over the UK tonight.

Not been about much have i? well, not taken many images recently, certainly none worthwhile, including this, i just wanted to upload it because it kinda symbolises my mood right now, though not entirely.

Have done a bit of video though, its not as easy as i imagined, in fact its pretty damn hard word, even just editing certain files, like those from high speed captures at 60fps, such a pain in the rectum.

Anyhow i shall do a little blog here shortly as a catch up, i hope your all well and safe.

Wow, I'd love to see this. I'm trying to work out what those brighter stars are. The stations looks like it's to the north of Cassiopeia.

Chris, i really dont know what constellation this would be in but i will nip outside again tonight at half 9 and try work out whee this image was pointing too, it came from the west and vanished somepoint in the south east, it only appears in the sky for 3 minutes on each pass, then it slowly fades away as the suns rays are blocked by the earths body, next pass is on monday night at 21:21 from W to SSE at very low altitude, possibly no higher than Sirius appears in the evening sky, definitely worth keeping an eye out for, knwing your looking out to your fellow men and women all the way up there is quite awe inspiring, though i dont think id wanna be couped up there for months on end!
