Lost Ivy

By FotoDen
Bare ivy branches creating a pattern on the wall of the Invaliden Friedhof (war cemetery) in Mitte Berlin. In summer this would be a riot of green. Looks interestingly like the jumble of wires in a server.
Taken with my second iPhone, that I always carry with me, and only use as a camera (pay as you go SIMM card).

Well done for highlighting the state of this memorial. What a shame it has been left in this way. They should copy the standards of those places looked after by our War Graves Commission. They are brilliant.

Actually Maiwand, the cemetery is very well looked after. What I photographed is the surrounding wall of the cemetery and what the ivy looks like after the leaves have fallen off. Please see today's photo of the cemetery.
