Lost Worlds

Thanks for yesterdays votes and comments

I found this spider web hanging from a gate yesterday morning first thing, before the sun and burnt away all the mist a then wind picked up.

Back-lit, the sun caught the larger water droplets and made them sparkle intensely.

On looking at the image on the computer when I got back I noticed that each of the drops was an inverted image of the landscape, reminiscent of the little British Gas worlds in the adverts.

A stunning piece of macrowork, natures beauty perfectly captured on camera. Those dewdrops/raindrops glisten like jewels in the early morning sun
