Loughrigg Fell

Trig point on Loughrigg Fell above Rydal Water on a day when I couldn't do much about the weather. Very windy and dull. Some occasional distant sun on the Langdale Pikes in the distance. What a contrast to last week! Different country! It was a good feeling to get onto the fells though. Getting back to landscapes for a bit.

Really lovely colors and such a great depth of field. We have a Trig Point here too, but looks somewhat different to this lol.. Terrific shot Paul..Jo

I like your landscapes. it might have been dull weather but this one has depth and lovely tones. Nice foreground detail as well.

I was there a few weeks ago and it poured down until sunset - which is when I went to Elterwater!
Nice shot in difficult conditions.

I can almost feel the wind; I could hardly stand up at that point. Lovely view all round from up there, Paul, weather permitting.

A fine landscape with beautiful recession. I was 10,000 feet up the Kakar mountains in Turkey in 1994 now I just have happy memories
