The image is of the Pavilion Richelieu wing of the Musee du Louvre in Paris, as taken through the entrance pyramid, summer 2005..

I think the composition has exciting possibilities being an interesting angle on a beautiful old building, through an (arguably, and controversially) beautiful new structure. However I thought the same of my previous similar post, Timelines (Gare du Lyon Clock Tower distorted in the mirror panels of an adjacent modern building), and that didnt get many clicks perhaps because it wasnt that strong a resulting image.

So Ive tried hard to strengthen this image with a black border, and increased hue, saturation, contrast and brightness.

Ideas on what I could have done otherwise, or further to improve the potential of this shot would be much appreciated.

Thanks for looking..

love the contrast of old and new, maybe needs a little more umph as the building is shot through glass, you could try a multiple layer of about 25% to see if that helps ( assuming you have photoshop or such like and don't mind a bit of tinkering !)

this is a gorgeous old building i like the faded blue colour and the bars help to tell a story well seen and captured.

Great composition.....(worthy of more attention in my opinion).
