Love is...

By Goggz
Granny and the little tyke... who didn't want his face wiped Wink

Then there's someone who isn't too sure about the soup (V2) and finally, The Howling (V3). All at 6.4k ISO, due to the light levels in't place. [edit] Adam was right about the noise, so I've added V4, which is a mono version of this shot. It's got a bit of extra grain in it courtesy of CS3.

Hope they raise a smile... taken during our lunchtime pigout at Dunham Massey on the recent meet.

This one's dedicated to Ian & Robbie Smile

Cheers, Goggz

V1 is very touching, great capture Pete. And the right title to it. This one is all about love. Yes!
V2 raised a smile - I know that trying mimic so well...
V3 is just cute - you managed to isolate that little thoughtful face perfectly.

I actually like the noise, it adds to the atmosphere of the images. But then, I look at images in a different way to most Wink

Your other images are being looked at as I type this Pete Wink

I really like this study and I wish I could take people pictures like this.

now I know what you were taking! I don't fine the noise so much of an issue considering the ISO speed, however there is a little banding appearing which I thought did not happen until using a much higher ISO?

Hi Nick, I think it's because it was quite dark in there. I was using 320/sec, f4 & ISO 6400. It all depends on the light. Taking shots @ high ISO in more normal light isn't usually a problem, but this one does look much worse that a previous shot of mine taken at ISO 25,600, 1/8th sec, F2.8... just for info, no click fishing here Wink

Hope the battery is still holding it's own!

CHeers, Goggz
