Low Tide

By woodrow
An image of a boat found on the High Water mark on the Beauly Firth just outside Inverness; the boat has been like this for some time and is a solitary find along a blank shoreline.

Apeture f22, Shutter 1/2sec, 0.9 Grad; Photoshop: levels, saturation tweaks

Great composition and colours. Looks like some beautiful scenery behind the boat!

The colour contrast between the blue sky and red hull really makes this shot. Unfortunately, you appear to have been a little too enthusiastic with your graduated filter. Just a minor nit as everything else is right on the money.

the grad! not an ideal time of day to shoot, sun was just to right of hull obscured by cloud and i was struggling to balance light levels
