Low Tide Explorations

By ChiliMan
Thanks, Andy , for your User Award on ‘Ipsy Wipsy’ Grin

And thanks, everyone, for your response Smile

Now then…remember the crab a couple of uploads ago? And how that was an entry in last month’s EPZ competition? Well, this was the other entry…

…three generations exploring marine life at low tide. My bro and nephews…and my dad approaching them to see what Daniel (the mite on the left) has to show him.

A fine composition, Andrew, perfectly captured and presented. Are there many interesting things to be found at low tide? Carol

A good story-telling shot but with added emphasis as the ripples draw the eye into the subjects. Perfect exposure suggests the use of a graduated ND?

This is my idea of a beach! Wonderful, people just pottering about enjoying themselves. And all that space...

An excellent capture Andrew - really tells a story, and I'd expect nothing less from the "great storyteller" (you!!) Wink
And look at that blue sky! We in the UK are forgetting what one looks like!!

Apart from the lovely family group having a great time (including the unseen Uncle Chilli taking the pics Smile), I love the flat horizon and wonderful clouds - I guess what Moira calls "all that space"!

It's good for the soul just pottering around by the seashore and you've captured the feel of their involvement so well in this well composed image.
