A very pleasing landscape which works so very will in monochrome with the lone figure providing one with a true sense of scale.

The lesser amount of water very probably makes for a more photogenic scene than when full to more normal levels...

Love the composition, Bill. The s-shaped river bed leading into the image; the diagonals of the hills and tree line pointing to the river vanishing point, and the lone figure giving scale and inviting a story line. Excellent.

Nicely composed landscape, Bill, and a comment on climate warming. I guess by now it's much fuller, our local rivers and streams are all flowing full after recent rain.
