The filter is a Hi Tech 0.6ND grad,these are a great choice for wide angles due to there size (no vignetting) they are also slightly cheaper than some other makes. I recommend using 0.6ND and 0.9ND grads with a hard edge rather than a soft transition however careful use is essential.

Wonderful sense of movement in the water and I love the way that cloud is caressing the mountain peak. Excellent image. Well done.

Lovely shot catching the light correct in the glen...we were there on Sunday and got some reasonable shots in the snow but it needs a high sun to get the best in this location. Great work.

Ian, thanks for your comments on my Buachaille picture. I struggled to find a favourite out of your selection, there were so many! I settled for this one in the end. Stunning image with incredible detail and clarity. I just can't believe my bad luck that I've missed it!!
