Lower Geyser Basin

By Leedslass1
Many thanks for all the votes and comments on my previous upload and special thanks to all those who gave it a valued UA. As ever it is all very much appreciated. I have been busy the last few weeks processing a selection of the many images taken in Yellowstone. Today's image is of a stand of dead trees in the Lower Geyser Basin. The water really is yellow from the sulphur deposits.

You were brave to do Yellowstone in the winter, although it is the most beautiful time. This is gorgeous.

A very beautiful winter scene, Carol, I can almost feel the cold radiating from this! 👍

Though dead, the remains of those trees stand tall and strong, and are beautifully dark against the snow and sky background.
