This summer, some volunteers undertook to improve our local railway station by planting tubs and placing them along the platforms. I was asked to take some photos to put in the village newsletter to demonstrate how the tubs had enhanced the environment. While I was shooting, this peacock butterfly alighted on the flower in front of me. What a gift! It proved beyond doubt that the tubs had been worth the effort.
