Your particular style of photography simply stands out in a crowd - I've noticed your images before and you might remember me leaving a vote here and there. Colors, light and style bring to mind the mood in some of Edwin Hopper's paintings - Automat, Chop Suey for instance.

I like everything about this: the fashion, the gracefully crossed legs of each woman, their posture and elegance, frozen in a moment as if someone they know is coming toward them; fine china on the table; wonderful warm reflections in the misted-over windows behind them. The care taken with make-up and dress is exceptional.

Everything about this image speaks of your talent as a photographer, of your vision and ability to convey that vision; of conveying a special mood, and a special place in time - this almost transports me back to when I was a child, and the way my mother dressed - she worked as a seamstress at a particularly fine store called Madame Reiman's (no longer in existence unfortunately).

Thank you for this - I am totally taken with it.

For some reason this this shot is so intense , not sure why , might all hinge on the expression of the woman on the right , very cool shot .

Excellent image, I agree about the intensity and the window background with reflected lamps and partial vision to the outside works so well without being distracting in any way. The plant on the windowsill left side drags my eye out a little though, cropping would spoil the feel I think. Still gets my UA.
