Another set of images taken at the National Railway Museum in York - I feel like I need to buy an anorak, now!
These images were, once again, taken in the Station Hall.
V1 is of a Porter's Trolley and an advert for a bargain return trip to Australia.
V2, V3 and V4 are of some items of luggage which I found quite quaint and amusing. I love the comments on the labels - make of these comments what you will!!
V5 is another Porter's trolley with a box of VERY BIG eggs, if it really does contain only a dozen, that is!! Plus, plenty of baskets to put them in - just to comply with the old adage!!
Thanks to all who viewed, voted and commented on my 'The Right Way To Do It!' - much appreciated, as always!Smile
Enjoy the rest of the Bank Holiday weekend.

Wonderful bit of nostalgia Richard. Came across something similar when we went on our steam train trip to Cheltenham race course station. Just lovely. Don

Again these bring back memories for decades back when, before the family had a car, a chest was sent off two days before our train journey to the holiday destination.
Four fines luggage shots from this wonderful museum, Richard.

Everyone a winner - well taken and very interesting.
I love the old luggage and always want to buy some old cases
as props for still life images. Mind you my husband has a few which would probably qualify!!
The messages on the cases are so evocative and must reflect how people lived.
nice image, nice colours..Roy

A wonderful set of images, each one full of interest and wonderment Richard. I particularly liked image number, the stack of luggage complete with an old MoD Suitcase which could be spotted three miles away.
