Lumps and Bumps

By Ridgeway
"Lumps and Bumps"
Well i am back to St,Annes for this one.
The local lads have made a track in an area that is less well used then other parts.Good idea because they are left to there own devices. The Bmx bikes are what they use here. They have produced some track in this bit of forest.Between the fall from the jumps and a collision with a tree these guys have guts.I have yet to be around when they are.
Make for some interesting shots.
Two shots tonight, one B&W the other colour.
Its a preference thing, which do you prefer?
As always time and interest is much appreciated,,
Cheers,

Aidan,,

V2 for me Aidan, I like the soft colours. V1 looks very unreal - almost like burned.

Like both versions but I do feel the colour version has better lighting definition. Monochrome version a lot moodier.
Ronnie.
Loving these shots. The b&w just gives it a boost though, creates a nice contrast and shadows. Nice lighting in the colour version though, lovely tones.

The mono has a dark mood to it, beautiful in itself, however, I feel the need to be cheered up so it's colour for me today!

The colour version shows the lumps and bumps better, and the light beyond the trees.

Two great pics and a great title.Hard to choose a favorite but V2 just wins for me..I think because the light is more prominant.
