lurking in the shadows

By jocas
thought I had better pop in to let all my epz friends know that we survived the regattaTongue.
just about - of 138 entrants ,only 88 finished the race due to high winds and big waves. we finished 19th in our class if 34 so were well pleased with that for a first attemptGrin.
we are now finally back home in the uk after 6 months on the boat and are enjoying the luxury of living in a dwelling with running water and a comfortable bedGrin
my pic today was taken back in early April when i was messing around with a clip on lens for my phone- the book beside me has travelled all round Europe this summer but remained unopened until recently and explains my prolonged absence from epz- having arrived home a few days ago I am determined to crack on with mastering Lightroom and iMovie for all our video clips, plus hoping to get out my watercolours and we have shed loads of cider to make- so all in all -keeping very busy so will be staying off epz for a while longer.
I hope that you are all keeping well and having fun- thank you for your constant support and a belated special thank-you to Pete(civitas) and Bernie(BRITCHIE)for their treasured awards.
keep well everyone- see you again soon.

Nice legs! Blush Welcome back, Jo, and with a great fish-eye shot too! You could have left the high winds behind you, though... WinkWink

An excellent image Jo. Some handy shadows for Saturday. Hope you never kicked the wine over

A well captured image Jo, especially on a phone. Like the kinda 'fisheye' effect from the clip on lens.

Welcome back home Jo, sounds like you did really well in the race. And good luck mastering Lightroom, I have it but I only use photoshop simply because thatís the one I was taught to use in night class. But on saying that itís a long winter so I might delve in to Lightroom. Superb image too

Nice to see you were not one of the 50 unfortunate non finishers Jo.
2 things wrong with your picture, the wine is too far away from your hand and
the ground is not moving SmileSmileSmile
After 6 months on a boat it must take a while to settle down.

Interesting use of your fish eye lens.
