superb, i would love to see the whole thing but i know from experience thats nearly imposible without having to lose the detail as you have to stand back, great shot

Thanks Deviouswolf, unfortunately the tail was covered with vegetation and this was taken from a canoe moving away from the subject. Was pretty scary looking back and seeing this beast there. Was approximately 10 ft in length

awesome capture Nick and yes it dose get scary when you have a lizzard looking at ya that is longer than the canoe your in LOL.

found some youngsters a couple of weeks ago in the wild, about a foot long, just the right size for a sub Smile bit worrying getting close to take pics wondering where mamma was.
