A spoof headline last month ran something like: "BMW drivers fury at having to keep six feet away from car in front".
Well, I for one have never seen the M11 like this.
Even in black & white!
A good idea, Alfie.
Beginning to revert to chaos, though, isn’t it?

Reminiscent of the images from the early days of the newly-completed M1 back in 1959.

With the lighting standard in the middle of the frame you get the feeling you are looking in a mirror image on either side of the pole. Now if motorways could be like this all the time?

Marvellous, driving around at the moment. Apart from cyclist that meander all over the road in clumps and boy racers making use of clear roads.

Great image Alfie, it would be lovely if that was all that was on the road..Lin

Frightening how quickly things have changed. Shots like this really bring it home. It would be nice to think that there might be less cars long term but somehow I doubt it.

A pity it's not like this all the time, and that goes for all motorways too.
