Been dabbling with astrophotography for a few months now and most I have learned is how hard it is.
This is a single 30sec exposure using my Nikon D90 mounted straight into my Skywatcher 200pds f5 telescope mounted on a skywatcher HEQ5pro. It has had a wee tweak in PS5 but not too much. It was very hard trying not to burn out the core while trying to get as much light as possible elsewhere. I shall soon be guiding for exposures up to 15mins and learning how to stack and blend in photoshop. As for now I am delighted with the detail I have got and look forward to seeing how far I can go with this.
