Hi folks,

We got Lucky, the cyclone phet just passed the other way...
Hope all of you doing fine and waiting to hug the weekend with lots of photo shots.

This one is Langkawi's famous curved bridge that is around 780meter above sea level and with some breathtaking views. It is said that once you walk on that bridge, you will feel that it is shaking, while it is not shaking at all!! And I actually felt it was shaking, I was scared to death, the unfortunate thing is you will start feeling like that once you reach the middle of the bridge, where there is no way back...

Regards
Astyag

A great shot and I suspect there are some spectacular views from this bridge - crossing it for me would be a nightmare with a fear of heights (unless I had a parachute)

Awesome looking view from the bridge. Did you not walk half way and take some shots? Or did the bridge start to shake too much?......Sandy

Nice to know about the bridge.I guess the view there must be beautiful..I know that some people suffer from vertigo,it is nightmare to walk on a high bridge for them. For you, try to take more photos, never look downwards, you will reach the other end without knowing that you are on the bridge...Grin
Have a nice weekend Astyag.Sounds that you are OK now, if you could walk on the bridge..best wishes to your wife as well.

Hello Astyag.
Thanks for showing this bridge at the top of Oriental village.
I've been there too, and I got lots of pictures from it.
The look a\around from the bridge, but even better from the two top stations, is really stunning. (when the weather is fine).
Langkawi is a place to come back. We do love it.
Cheers from Jan

I'm glad you got lucky! Lived in south Florida for several years, and hated the hurricane season. The worst we had one year was water right up to the house. Mother nature sure gets respect from me!
