Mahout . ( Eye of The Tiger).

on elephant safari in Chitwan National Park, the elephants from.another group on the elephant safari, were slightly ahead of us in thicker jungle. Suddenly, the elephants started trumpeting loudly, then we heard a low rumble, followed by an almighty roar that filled the whole jungle! Our mahout was wide eyed in terror and immediately jumped off.. This mahout as seen in the photo, just emerged from an area to our right and can be seen weighing up the situation... We proceeded no further.., it was the roar of a Bengal Tiger.

Great bit of light there Gareth making for a really strong portrait......never heard a tiger in Chitwan but saw some black rhino , what a fantastic place Smile

Got a black rhino photo Jeremy. Guide saud in twenty years he'd only seen a tiger four times!! We didn't see it, but the roar literally filled the jungle, very impressive, and set my heart racing.. Very primal!!
