Still up in "The County" (where I believe Joline lives), we get to see some of the agricultural products from up there....big one is potatoes, and rapeseed ( from which comes canola oil). Also broccoli and timber. The countryside is rolling hills...very different than the rest of the state. And gets seriously cold in the winter. Lots of young people leave. Among people we met, the attitude was similar to what I heard in Alaska. People who are there choose to be.

I am pretty sure that the far hills in this photo are Canada, on the other side of the St. Johns River.But that is a photo for another day.

When our children visited "The Country" the brought souvenirs for all--- bags of potatoes! some of the best to be had!
