Maine in Winter #7

By handlerstudio

Taken right outside our friend Rob's pdf my challenges when shooting...and traveling, often is not necessarily to look to the great views and great vistas, those famous scenes to photograph, but to find image, interest, beauty, quirky scenes....where I am. I often think that as photographers, we see the world in rectangles, and find those "crops" within the world we see to "abstract" into the limitation of an image on film or chip, defined by edges.

The version is a mono....see what you like better.

It was warm, mostly in the 40s when we were there. I think that where we were (and I am guessing where Joline lives), they are now in the midst of a major snow storm.

A wonderful winter woodland image, I actually like the colour version best but also like the mono.
