First car I ever drove was an MGB... a proper one, before they ruined the handling by raising the suspension, in order to comply with American legislation and sell them in California.
I don't know anything about this model... but I'd love a go in it.

Proper cars! Smile
From the halcyon days when British cars were made by British people in British factories owned by more British people. And yes, I know its not PC to be patriotic and to look upon my country of birth and it's people with pride, but I'm old and wrinkly Grin and of a generation when that was the norm rather than to be frowned upon! A fine collection of 'bits'

The dial shape is an automatic give-away as to the manufacturer and the Moggy Minor needs no introduction either. I suspect that no3 may be an Austin of some description (but am probably wrong). As for the other two ...............

Love the expression in V3 John, he certainly is enjoying the day. A nicely observed set.

A great set. Proper engineering, built to last. And so much more interesting than leaves and petals, unless of course, we are referring to springs and valves😀
Cheers

For the record, the happy gent was there with an elderly Royce...

(As my son works for the non-car firm that puts 'RR' plates on its products, I am trained in the proper way: one does not refer to it as a 'Rolls' - he was only the salesman...)

Octagonal instruments - can only be MG.
Older cars provide innumerable opportunities for detail images instead of the larger picture.
