Out first thing this morning with Mr Levers and Mr West for a sunrise on Mam Tor. It ended up being a glorious photo session in great company.
You might see a few of these from us 3
Good to see you escaped from your desk
You three certainly did have a good morning for getting up there.. Looking forward to seeing the rest too..
s'awright, I s'pose!
Very nice shot.
he he, I escaped friday afternoon aswell Jeanie, got fed up and booked 1/2 day off to go play in the snow
thanks Fran, glad you think it's alright
Some lovely light there, and a little tinge of pink on the hill to the left.
No footprints!, lovely soft winter light,

... oh go on, rub it in why don't you!!!
Nice mate, can see what you meant earlier about the quality of that light.

You really have an aversion to working a full week, don't you!
Very nice. You got the light we were looking at while trying to get the car out of a snow drift!!
Phil you should have abandoned the car and worried about it afterwards... priorities
Half day off - well I don't blame you Richard
Nice shot looks like a beautiful morning
Quote: No footprints!,
it took some doing Mike!
Some better light than this to come aswell Paul
I have an aversion to working full stop Fran, but unfortunately have to do it sometimes.
Oh dear Phil [jeanie's right though!]
It's been many years since i was last in this area and Mam Tor holds many memories for me
Glad you like Christopher
Hi Rich - marvellous image and I know exactly where you are standing for this one. Nice leading lines etc. and an excellent viewpoint.

I did have to do the 'photographers mad run' to get to this spot Ian, it all happened a bit too quick but I knew where I wanted to be luckily
Such a stunning view.
Looked good at the time, and looks great here as well.
Thanks for the lens loan, and yours (and Martin's) great company this morning, thoroughly enjoyed it..
it was a cracking morning.....still laughing about your 'rug'
hows yours turned out without the W/A?
I like my "rug"!!
Just looking at them now, they seem OK, just not as wide a view as normal!
I was up there myself saturday morning, got a very similar shot to this one. I'll give it a few days! That was a spectacular morning and you've pulled a superb shot out of the bag with this one.
Great stuff Richard, fantastic light. The Peaks are amazing in the snow. I haven't managed to get down there as much as I'd have liked this week.
Nice work Richard. Was nice to meet you and Martin.W up there, and thanks for showing me the lovely light I just missed!! ;(,fashionably late as usual!.The quality of light on this is superb, look forward to seeing more,
That light was well worth the cold....beautifully captured Rich.
Good to see you again, enjoyed the morning
I wish I'd come back with something this good - sorry I missed you guys - but wasn't it super up there? Lovely, lovely light - can't wait to see the rest...
Where abouts were you then Graham, at the trig point?
Good to meet you too Chris, hope you managed some shots later on
It was a cracker Martin
Lovely light Rich - was nearly there myself, but decided instead to head closer to home as Dunham Massey. Umm... not sure which was the better choice now
Can vouch for the beautiful light....was down t'other end at Stanage
You've done well to catch the texture in the snow. Nice to see a shot that doesn't rely on the footpath.
