Man O'War Beach

By TheURL
Just the other side of Durdle Door is Man O'War Beach, which sitting there watching this lone fisherman I thought might make a nice mono silhouette. That there are still multiple textures in the sea, but none in the rocks, is a feature I like, but I can't claim to have thought of that while I was there!

Its a good catch. A silhouette often looks best with more exposure, as in the mods, just to prevent it from appearing underexposed.

Pun intended I guess! Thanks for the mods - ah yes this is an argument I'd read before (but had forgotten) that as Westerners read and write from left to write, so they prefer motion or directional subjects to be going from left to right, if only subconsciously. That's one of the benefits of photo-sharing - we're so busy scrambling about with a camera it can take an audience to point out an potential improvement! Thanks again Willie Smile
