Man-of-War

The Russian Class A Frigate, Shtandart, moored in Blyth during the Tall Ships regatta event during August 2016.

This vessel is an exact replica of the the man-of-war built by Peter the Great in 1703 in order to defend St Petersburg.

The modern Shtandart was built in 1999 as a fully functional training ship.
