Map Reading II

By chase
The little Conway wanted to join in Wink

Hope you aren't bored with these yet, I may have others from the session but I will save them for a rainy day....maybe Wink
The light was so nice, and showed off the crinkly bellows on the cameras, well 2 of them.

3 frames, combined in Lightroom, finished in Photoshop.
Lit by diffused daylight, camera left.

Thanks for your patience.
Constructive critique and mods welcome.

You sure do have an eye for setting up. Great old cameras. Some people are hoarders but you use your old stuff. Beautifully too I must add.

I for one, will never get bored of these.
Only thing is that every time I see one it gives me ideas that I never follow through.

I have had an idea in my head for over three years can you believe....I must get on with it 🙄

Lovely display of these old timers, Janet. How much pleasure they would have given their owners when new! There is such a different vibe to that era, much more of gratitude than ‘take it for granted’ of some today. To view this at its best I should be sitting by a coal fire with a mug of Horlcks, or similar timeless beverage 😃

Nope, not bored, MJ.
My personal preference is for the light to be low enough so as not to show my crinkly bits...Wink

Thanks everyone.
Christine, thank you so much for your UA.

Three years Diane ??? I couldn’t wait that long, once an idea gets in there and won’t go away I HAVE to sort it, then I can sleep Wink

Dave, I love old things, I think it’s the gentle feel of them, I can close my eyes and imagine the hands that have touched stuff, I know……I’ll get my coat Wink

Malc, switch the lights off, don’t upset yourself Wink

Lovely still life and bet they have a great, 'feel' to them. There was always that wait, not the instant gratification of digital.

Lovely arrangement of nostalgia, Janet, with a school blackboard behind?

I wish James but no, the effect is an added texture on a dark bg.
