Nice too, but do you think it's sufficiently different from the last one?

Is this at Southport? Blimey, I should go there and get some shots (I live in Tarleton, not far away)!

Great shot, by the way - the composition is first class, and the sunny conditions complement it really well.

It is very similar Eric but I thnk they both work. This one highlights the steel thingy a bit more. Well done on both. Very artistic!

Like it a lot - my only quibble concerns the letters in the corner.

Very nice shot. I prefer this angle, although there's not much in it!

Great photo of a wonderful bridge. I prefer this to the previous photo. Here the two shapes complement each other where as in the previous version I felt they vied with each other. Also this has a better sense of space and distance.

Thanks for all the feedback everybody. Great to hear from you all. Smile

I prefer this shot myself and thought it different enough to put up. I feel the first shot is more a shot of the bridge, with the sculpture as foreground interest (if strong foreground interest). I see this shot as being of the sculpture, with the bridge as background interest (if strong background interest). This is not to say that both images are not of both the bridge and the sculpture. The change in emphasis is subtle, but I can percieve it and I can see from the comments that others do too.

Agreed, Eric. I prefer this one too, but it's by a short neck!

Interesting to compare the two. This is brighter but the other has it's charm too, so I'll sit on the fence.

Do like multiple versions of a subject - always interesting to compare the different comps and ways of tackling a subject

Both look good, but this one wins, I think, by a fairly substantial margin. Not just the light, but prefer the contrast in size

Love this composition, Eric - although both have merits. Nice additions to your portfolio. By the way, stopped briefly to browse your website, will check out further when time. Very interesting.

Both versions seen and clicked but for me this is the stronger and more powerful image, something that I feel is aided by the portrait format and the sculpture seeming higher and more dominant. Good work, I like it.
