Marmite

By KarenFB
This is definitely a 'Marmite' photo - some will love and others hate it! (I would really like to hear your opinions, be it negative or positive!). Smile

My daughter and I went to some 'Open Studios' in Devon yesterday - one studio was a place to learn sculpture (they specialised in 'real' sculptures, rather then abstract ideas (though there were a few 'fantasy' subjects)).

This was a life sized Rhino made of bronze! It was HUGE (placed in the workshop with a velux window above it...........hence the replaced background).

The work on display was amazing, but all quite difficult to photograph because of other people/things in the rooms. I did enjoy wandering around looking at everyone's work though - very inspiring!

The one thing I wished I'd spotted though, was the fact I'd only captured one of its ears! If I'd just moved a little to the right I would have got both!

I think it's great Karen - both the work and your picture of it.
Something different and very good!

I like the body Armour Karen, They need something is their
native environments... poachers.
Yes, agree you can think of things you should have done,
but then you have to make the most of the situation..left or right?
But an interesting piece of artwork...and life sized, Wow!
well presented
