Lovely image with great light and colour.
I've added a bit of punch by making a layer and on the bottom layer pulled the centre of the curves down a little, then smart sharpened 50/2.9.
Then I erased the bottom 2/3rds of the top layer as I felt the background was fine as it was and didn't need boosting at all.
Hope that helps,

A lovely image spoilt by one thing the post , it takes an awfull lot of attention away from the boat so I've done a quick mod without it
All the best

Very well done indeed. All the usual pitfalls avoided and I don't mind the post although mod 3 does work too.

I think everyone has already mentioned most things so I thought I'd upload a quick B&W conversion for you to compare.

Sometimes, when the photo has a very simple composition I like to convert to B&W. Always find it adds the extra impact. Feel free to disagree though..

Good to see you uploading. Looks like you had better light on the ground that day than on the day we met you. It's certainly a great place for photos. I think I prefer it with the post left in as it relates to the boat.

Thanks everyone for your feedback - very helpful.
Nice contrast and light, keeping one of the mountains in the background would add a lot more interest.
