Marsh Harrier-male

By PaulLiley
I'm getting there. Probably the closest I've been to this magnificent bird over the reedbeds of Leighton Moss. I haven't finished yet because I need to get even closer. I will continue to return to the reserve in an attempt to get a really close 'landing' shot of this bird. It is a quest and may take me some time but I will get there with my modest equipment. . This is one of only two Harriers which wintered over this season due to the mild winter.

Nice capture Paul, seen these two over the last couple of weeks but always too far away to grab a shot, be there myself on Saturday to try and nail a shot, weather permitting.
