Masai Warrior

By ginz04
This is a photo taken on recent safari to Kenya. This is one of the famous Masai Tribe. We visited a Masai Village which consisted of around 50 - 60 huts housing around 200 people. The huts are made from leaves and cow dung they are made by the women of the tribe the men hunt and look after cattle. In the middle of the village stands a pole and around this pole is where the boys become men and are circumcised without anesthestic then they are made to go into the wilderness for 5 years and then return as men.
