Masking the truth

One evening in December I walked through the streets of Venice looking for something different.

Across a small canal in the backstreets somewhere in Castello, I think, I saw this shop, and even though I knew the light contrast was extreme and I would have to make do with what was available I snapped this image. Thanks to Photoshop and Lightroom (just beginning to learn that tool) I have been able to enhance it.

Slam me for the blown outfights, but there's bugger all I could do with the harsh shop lighting, but praise me for the spookiness of the image, please! Wink
