Amazing how they blend in Carol !! it is as if they instinctively know where to sit to not be noticed by the flying predators ! I love the pose of the Mantis in V3 Smile

Really interesting. I remember as a child I picked up a twig from a tree where I lived and it moved! It was, of course, a stick insect but I didn't know that at the time. I can't remember anything else but I hope it survived my small clumsy hands.

mantises are the true mistresses of camouflage but the hopper is my star with that glorious light.
