All superb Carol I don't know how you spotted them never mind take such excellent shots of them
Really interesting. I remember as a child I picked up a twig from a tree where I lived and it moved! It was, of course, a stick insect but I didn't know that at the time. I can't remember anything else but I hope it survived my small clumsy hands.

A terrific set Carol, the camp theatrical pose from the mantis in v3 made me smile. I think he wanted to be noticed and photographed!
mantises are the true mistresses of camouflage but the hopper is my star with that glorious light.
