Mating Hawkers

By ron thomas
I took this on Wednesday when I visited Sandbach Photographic Society. I arrived in the area in the late afternoon and looked for "Sandbach Flashes" which are an area of salt marsh quite rare in inland areas. I found these two dragonflies which I think are MIGRANT HAWKERS close to a roadside pond.

A super sharp image. Are you sure it isn't a mutant dragonfly though!
